Carl Palmer

There aren't many gigs I would go to purely to see the drummer. But Carl Palmer is the best drummer in the world today. I've seen him before with both ELP and Asia and been amazed by his skill, but now I'm convinced he was holding back with those bands, because this gig was mind-boggling. I've had a lot of different reactions to gigs but I've never come out giggling before. Literally, laughing with sheer disbelief that such skill exists in the world.
