The Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge
19–20 December 2006
I'm not doing reviews any more. I'm all reviewed out.
So anyway, Blakey Ridge on a frozen December night is the most beautiful place on Earth and has approximately twenty-seven billion stars in the sky.
The concert started a bit ropey, with the sound system a bit overloaded and the band (and to be honest, the audience) a bit subdued. Maybe we were all tired... hung over... Christmassed out... I don't know... but the Spirit of Blakey Ridge took over as the band (and the audience) warmed up and...
And in the end it had all the really important things that I wanted it to have.
And because I'm too much of a shrinking violet to hang around after a gig to say thank you...... Thank You.
Best concert I've ever seen. That's all I'm going to say. I'm not doing reviews any more.

The best part of the show
It's only blurry on your screen. For me, it's perfect.
