At the first few guitar notes, I'm trembling. I can't breathe. It's Ritchie Blackmore. I can't even tell what he's playing yet, but it doesn't matter. It's just... HIS sound. I still don't know how good the current incarnation of his band will be, I don't know what they'll play, I don't know if he'll be in a bad mood and refuse to do encores. It doesn't matter. I would rather hear a few random notes like this than see all my favourite bands playing all my favourite songs. He's Ritchie Blackmore and this is already the best concert I've ever seen.
